Overview

Sprout is a childcare tracking app. This policy describes what data we collect, where it is stored, and how it is shared with other users you choose to invite.

Data we collect

Account: When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password (hashed). We do not sell or share your email with third parties for marketing.

Child and event data: You add child profiles (e.g. name, birthdate) and log events such as feeds, sleep, diapers, and activities. This data is stored so you and any caregivers you invite can see one shared timeline per child.

Where data is stored

Data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication). Supabase runs on infrastructure that can be configured for your region. The app also keeps a local copy on your device for offline use and syncs with Supabase when online.

Sharing with caregivers

A child has one continuous timeline. When you invite a co-parent, nanny, or daycare, they can see the same timeline according to the access you grant. Data is not split into separate "home" and "daycare" silos — it is one shared view of the child's activity. You control who has access via invitations and roles.

Your rights

You can delete your account and associated data from within the app or by contacting us. We will describe the process in the app and in support materials.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date.
